Casa Libertas is rooted in a ranch-raised family past that stretches from the Old World to the Americas. Inspired by a history of discovering new horizons, the House is infused with a heritage of handcrafted pieces made in the saddle room and workshop, passed down through generations.
Among these cherished possessions were buckles and belts, each bearing the indelible imprint of the artisans that brought their craft of silversmithing and leather working from a bygone era of the 1800s, to the vast lands of The Americas.
Beyond exquisite pieces and masterful skills, we inherited the rich culture and environment from which they emerged. A blend of authenticity and beauty, echoing the rhythms of life on the ranch and the spirit of its people.

Casa Libertas tiene sus raíces en un pasado familiar nacido en el rancho que se extiende desde el Viejo Mundo hasta las Américas. Inspirada en una historia de descubrimiento de nuevos horizontes, la Casa está impregnada de una herencia de piezas hechas a mano, en la sala de monturas y en el taller, transmitidas de generación en generación.
Entre estos preciados objetos se encontraban hebillas y cinturones, cada uno con la huella indeleble de los artesanos que trajeron su oficio de orfebrería y marroquinería desde el año 1800, y que provenían de las vastas tierras de las Américas.

For over three decades, we have honed our craft in the realm of buckle and belt design, our passion blossoming into a lifelong pursuit. It was then that we first glimpsed the uniformity that became associated with the belt—a functional piece devoid of emotional or artistic resonance.
For years, captives of convention, we found ourselves in the trappings of conformity—except for the treasures passed to us by our family.
Since 1992, a seed was planted, and the House embarked on a journey fueled by a relentless pursuit of liberation from the shackles of conformity.

Durante más de dos décadas, hemos perfeccionado nuestro oficio en el ámbito del diseño de hebillas y cinturones, nuestra pasión finalmente floreció después de una búsqueda que formaba parte de nuestra vida. Fue hace más de 25 años cuando vislumbramos por primera vez la uniformidad que se asoció con el cinturón, una pieza funcional desprovista de resonancia emocional o artística.
Durante años, cautivos de los convencionalismos, nos encontramos en la trampa del conformismo, excepto por los tesoros que nos pasó nuestra familia.
Desde 1998, se plantó una semilla, la Casa emprendió un viaje impulsado por una incansable búsqueda para romper las reglas establecidas.
THE CREATION OF THE HOUSE
In the sanctuary of Casa Libertas, the soul of artifacts found new life, reborn as symbols of freedom and self-expression. With each creation, we breathed life into the ancient craft, infusing it with the spirit of rebellion and defiance that defined the House.
At the heart of our story lies the majestic horse, our logo designed in seven fluid brush strokes, symbolizing our collective connection to Earth and the seven continents. The horse's nose, reminiscent of the Moon, and its eye, reflecting the Sun, evoke a sense of belonging and inspiration.
And so, the legacy of Casa Libertas continues to unfold, a testament to the power of artistry, heritage, and the unyielding pursuit of freedom.

En el corazón de nuestra historia yace el majestuoso caballo, nuestro emblema representado por el trazo de siete pinceladas fluidas, simbolizando así nuestra conexión colectiva con la Tierra y los siete continentes. La nariz del caballo, evoca la Luna, y el ojo, refleja el Sol, despertando un sentido de pertenencia e inspiración.
